| I hear a lot about bulking but not sure what it is and what the purpose is. I'm trying to gain muscle and loose fat. I’m 184lb 6' male 49 yrs. I've lost 10 lbs in the last 60 days and definitely show muscle mass and tone although I want much more. I don't eat very much, usually only dinner and nuts and water during the day, but when I do eat its healthy. |

Bulking is just a referance to gaining mass, mostly for strength purposes.
You need to eat more then.
Post what you eat, and what times. |

You need a proper breakfast here, that includes things like Cereal, Egg Whites, Chicken, Whole-grain Toast, Nuts, Low Fat Cheese, Pro-biotic Yoghurt, Fruit as examples.)
water
snack: yogurt, cashews, water (Good but I'd add more Protein here)
water
dinner: grilled chicken, green beans, wine, water (Cut back on the Beans, as you already have a good amount of Amino Acids in the Chicken, so I'd cut back on some of the Beans, and add more Veggie Carbs)
snack: yogurt |
You need to have this kind of meal format in general
Breakfast
Snack
Lunch
Snack
Dinner
Snack, preferable but optional.
The main thing is you have some ideas now, so you need to start implementing them, as your eating is sporadic, good choices, but insufficient in quite a few ways. |
