I weight around 78kg and I am 5ft 10in

I have exactly 3 weeks till I start university and people have recently started calling me fat as I have clearly put on weight this summer.
I have become paranoid and want to loose as much in three weeks before I start.

Would it be realistic to loose around 1.5kg a week eating well and doing lots of exercise and eating well.

Thanks in advance

You weigh just over 171 lbs, you really don't need to be thinking about losing 3+ lbs a week, not least as your weight wouldn't allow any such losses.

You should just concentrate on some kind of bulking strategy.

If you put on muscle, you'll replace Fat at the same time, as the better eating and training would help to remove some Fat, whilst tightening you up at the same time.

Hey there!

We all let ourselves go a bit sometimes. The good thing is that you realize now that its time to get back on track so you can start making healthy changes and get back to where you'd like to be. :) With a little work and dedication I'm sure you will get there in no time.

People can be so cruel. Try not to take their criticism with a grain of salt and use it to better yourself.

I think you might be better off losing that weight slowly over time as you would be more likely to keep it off. What are you currently doing for exercise? What does your diet look like? You could post examples of your current workout and diet and we can see about making some healthy changes.

I hope this helps. :)
