skipping next to sprints is the best cardio you can do...i would go HIIT for 10mins and do it harder for shorter and it will work twice as good

I did it for a number of years when I was boxing. It build coordination, strengthens ankles, calves and quads. I was fit and I would do 2x sets of 1000. I'm wondering if I should start again!

I jumped for 20 min today, moderate to fast, it was a great workout. how many calories does it burn? and is it better than running to lose body fat?

Any endurance exercise that increases the heart rate is a good cardio exercise. The calories burned depends on intensity and time of the exercise.

and it has wood floors. next time i will go for 5 min, go for 10 at high intensity "HIIT?" then go for another 5 and see how I do. I gotta be honest, the first first min was the hardest, then you kinda get in your groove and get your cardio high on and it kept me going. just like the other day, i ran 3 miles, and i had more energy after i'd completed 2. thanks everyone! i'm new to this so i'm learning some stuff already.
