That's fine about the Sausages.
Meat sources are high in Protein, which helps you to feel fuller. Most Protein sources digest in about 3 hours, so a goodly amount should make you feel full, without necessarily feeling bloated / bunged up, and therefore stop you wanting to snack as much. |

solid protein - chicken, red meat, turkey, eggs, turkey, fish, tuna, sardines
have banana earlier in the day....fruit is basically instant energy (carbs) which you don't need at night
solid protein makes you feel fuller and burns a lot of calories just digesting it |

yeah, um, what about the potassium in a banana? I thought it was to help replace electolytes lost during a workout. also, should the yolk in a chicken egg be avoided? what's wrong with just eating peanut butter, protein bars, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, milk, spinach, nuts, etc. ?
i kindof have had a bad experience with cooking meat so i'd rather not have to cook meat on a regular basis. that, and the grease factor. i don't like cleaning up my kitchen, if it can be avoided. Does it have to be from an animal? |

Things like Skinless Chicken Breast / Slices, and Turkey, are not greasy Poultry / Meat, and if you have problems eating meat 1-2 times a day, switch some of the meat you eat sometimes for fish Sources.
That's another avenue for you to explore. |

Weigh it. Just get your piece of meat, put it on a piece of Tin Foil, and pop it on the scales.
100g is 3.5OZ, so you should be able to work okay on that principle.
The maths is not to difficult. So if you have for example a 2OZ piece of meat, then divide 100 by 3.5, and multiply by 2 to get the grams total.
If you have say a 4OZ piece, divide 100 by 3.5 then multiply by 4, for the grams total. |
