Hi,
While I was at a mall I came across this protein shake Muscle Milk (already made). I tried it and it was awsome.
Amount Per serving.
Total Calories: 348
Calories From Fat: 162 (there are some omega 3 fats)
Total Fat: 18 g
Saturated Fat: 8 g
Cholesterol: 3 mg
Sodium: 200 mg
Potassium: 595 mg
Total Carbohydrates: 12 g
Dietary Fiber: <2 g
Sugars: 6 g

This will be my first time thinking seriously about starting to take supplements since I work alot and it is very hard for me to get all my nutrition. I really hope I get some feedbacks from you guys.
Thank you |

I have the same question, i found muscle milk on this site and if the product is even half of what they advertise it as then it sounds pretty good...
http://www.massnutrition.com/products.cfm?cur_man=CYTOSPORT&item=CS023
Do you think this is any good and has anyone ever used it or heard of soemone who used it and what was their feedback, also are there any side effects to it?

Well jd12 this is the deal:
I bought it and I have been using them since Jan 31.
It tastes great, and I like it alot. I was at 165 lb and I am at 162 right now and my BF is at 12.5%.
It does contain some creatine but I havent had any problems at all.
On my incline bench I can do 65 -70 lb DB (3 sets - 7-10 reps). I also hit the gym 4-6 times a week and do cardio 2 times a week.
Thats what I have to say brother.
I hope it helps. |

well so i guess it's too early to ask if you have seen results, but please post them up when/if you get any (muscle gain, strength, anything). Also it seems pretty rich in calories so did you notice any fat gain?
Thanks for replying |

| I just started taking muscle milk this week. I got the strawberry flavor, not the greatest taste I'll have to admit but my aerobic instructor swears by it. I have tried other protein drinks in the past and have seen results so I hope this helps me to increase my results. But I have only heard good things about it! |

As stated though, it does contain some Creatine, so don't compare it to other Protein style drinks or shakes, as the comparison will be too lopsided.
I would also be a little aware of the Creatine content, as I'm assuming by your name you are female, and Creatine does cause a bit of water retention, particularly if the Creatine content is Monohydrate, and you certainly wouldn't benefit, from having extra water retention during, (to be polite), TOM.
Hopefully that helps. If you're going to use it, see how it works out, particularly with the Water ret, and if it works for you then keep using it. |
