Well, I don't want a body building type body..just a toned body. I really can't eat a full meal 3xaday..due to money..Plus, I can't eat a lot at one time. I eat a lot though out the day. Meats aren't that cheap. And for some one to eat constantly in the day it's hard..and hard for someone who makes 491 bucks in a 2 week paycheck. Neutral. The Eating part is more of a pain and seems harder to do than to lift 4x a week Razz.

search around for the cheapest meat deals...buy in bulk wherever possible if you have a good freezer to store in...if you have the food with you than i can't see how you can't just take 5mins to eat quickly a couple times a day...sandwitches with meat are easy to do

I totally agree with that.. I've just seen so many teenagers, and even adults who have no knowledge of nutrition start a weight training program and immediately start pumping as much protein into their body as possible and their system just isn't ready for it. I’m a classic example and I was almost 30 years old when I did it. I'm a pretty firm believer that given time, the body can adjust to just about anything but time is the key.

Regarding the meals... if you live close to a walmart, in the pharmacy, you can get all kinds of supplement bars anywhere from 100 to 300 calories and 9-30 grams of protein per bar. some as low as $.99 per bar.. and I don't think any of them are over $1.50 each... pretty good deal...

I work at wal-mart haha.. 32g ones are a 1.99. And Swanso I eat ALOT during the day just not a lot at once.. Mostly quick microwave things, or fruits sometimes sandwiches. I just don't seem to get bigger. I can't even get fat. I don't know the food part seems to be the hardest part out of everything.. I've been trying like a mofo though to stay on track with it..Maybe I'll be bigger than big boss and swanso put together. Just kidding.

You work at wal-mart eh Guts? Well I can see how the temptation to eat something, anything conveinent would be overwhelming. I do recommend though, since you get an employee discount on products there maybe picking up something like EAS's Myoplex Lite shakes or pb bars. I personally have been nibbling the bars for two weeks after work outs and although not overwhelmingly filling they are really helping me rebuild muscle and refuel. I know they have them at wal-mart Smile (go wal-mart!) Oh and they are geared to help rebuild and tone, not bulk.
Also I agree chicken is amazing for protein at dinner time...nothing like it. Or very lean beef.

Turkey. Same Protein content, but can be eaten hot or cold. Unless you buy sliced Chicken, Breasts are raw and need cooking.

The only time Turkey comes raw really is the kind you buy for Christmas.

Great Protein source Chicken, but if you're looking for a fast option, then stick to the cooked slices in a plastic tray style packet, otherwise you're looking at at least 12-14 minutes Frying a Breast.

Also Firered, you wouldn't be doing subtle promotion of EAS products would you, on account of you work for them I believe Wink Wink Razz

Disclaimer: other supplement companies Bars and shakes are available. Just to be fair to them Wink Wink.

seated leg curl 3 x 12 super set single leg stiff legged deadlifts 3 x 12 each leg
walking lunges with bb on shoulders 3 x 10 each leg

you may need to use an 8 day cycle maybe so you do our 4 workouts every 8 days to allow for 1 extra recovery day as your lifting throughout the day as well
mon - on
tue - off
wed - on
thu - off
fri - on
sat - off
sun - on
mon - off
tue - start again

yeah bodyfat is around 10% or so

doesn't really matter what actual % you are but you should be able to see abs all year round so if you can't, impeove your food choices but don't decrease calorie intake

Yes I work WITH them but my dear I also use the products (hello Tom Bosley). I have been using Myoplex Lite and you know what its good for muscle and keeping the bulk minimal. Plus hey, the bars taste good and have like 20g of protein and are lo-carb, so yay.
I also have used other stuff and eat Trader Joe's and health food like it's going out of style. Problem with a lot of products out there is they are going for the hardcore 'pump you up' thing. If you are not bulking and doing Xtreme cardio (insert Ah-nold voice here) yeah that works....Guts mentioned something about wanting to tone....thought help in an non-obtuse way Smile
You may now berate me LOL Laughing

Don't worry, I was just playing with you. I've seen people on boards like this before, promoting stuff, and you aren't them.

It's all good Smile.

Awwww thanks Boss Man. You mean I am not screaming buy, buy buy at you like a nerd? I could if you would like. BUY, BUY, BUY.....hahahaha Laughing No there are benefits and drawbacks to every product. Depends on what you are looking for. Oh and Myoplex Lite is at Wal-mart, GNC, etc.....makes it really accessible for the modern day overworked, underpaid person....convenient, no?

Convenient, but after hearing horror stories about those GNC's, not beneficial if that's the only place near where you live.
