I've been back in the gym for 3 months now and Ive been seeing some really good results...lost 8 pounds of fat and am getting closer to my Goal...
All I've been doing is just cleaning up my eating Habits, hitting the weights 4 times a week and doing an HIIT session after each workout for 20-25 minutes.
A friend suggested that I supplement with creatine and protein.
My goal is to lose another 5 lbs of fat (around the midsedtion) and get cut up!! The only place I'd like to add a little more bulk is in my chest, otherwise my build is quite solid.
Should I be supplementing to reach more goals ( if so, with what??), or should i just continue what Ive been doing????
Thanks for the help guys! |

| protein powder should be a diet staple on training days so i don't class it as a supp but it's far too early for creatine to have any form of effect on you and for leaning purposes it's pretty useless |

Sorry If I came off as a Newbie....I used to work out seriously from the age of 17 for 6 solid years, took a year and half off and now Im back at the gym....
I've used Creatine (a long time ago) and found that it gave my muscles a Bloated look.
My question concerning the Creatine is does it always have this bloating effect? Because I wanna build some Lean muscle!!! |

I think Purple K is a Krealkalyn.
I've never been sure of Krealkalyn giving no Water retention, as it's often been touted as giving half the Water retention of Monohydrate, about 3-4 lb's roughly.
CEE is the only one that's ever been properly touted as a no retention Creatine, but I don't think it's proven itself to be superior to Kre-alkalyn, especially after the initial hype died down, and the counterclaims / counterscience started surfacing.
I am advocating now, that unless you're approximately 170lb's plus and with pretty lean mass, you're powerbase won't be too good, and your 30% power increase from Creatine, will be not good money wise.
I used Creatine once, don't think it's rubbish, except for Celltech, and possibly CEE is not so hot anymore, as I said before, but I wouldn't use Creatine again, even if it is often advertised, by 220lb juicers with 19" ripped Arms, and insane near crippling workout schedules. |
