I've gone through a lot of these threads and found a lot of info on what to eat BEFORE doing cardio but not much on what to eat after.
My typical cardio morning goes something like this...
Breakfast: 7:30am
1 slice whole wheat toast
1 egg omelet
tea- regular with milk and sugar ( I only have one a day. My morning tea is to me what coffee is to others)
Then I do my bus run which is an hour long, come home and change and walk/jog for about 30 min. I'm finished by about 10:15am.
So what should I eat afterwards because I'm starving by the time I get back home. |

Just a decent amount of Protein and Carbs.
You could possibly, however have a small quantity of High GI Carbs to spike your Bloodsugar up.
So you could have something like Toasted Wheatbread, and some Baked Beans.
Or you could have some Low Fat Wedge Cheese, and use the Bread to make a Sandwhich.
Those are just examples
