Hey guys and gals i'm very new to fitness & dieting. Here's what I have so far. I'm pretty sure that I need to add or change this diet that's why i'm asking for critique . My main goal is reduce my body fat. I don't want to bulk up and don't really want my weight to be higher.
27 Male
5'10
160lbs
about 18% body fat
Meal 1: 1 cup of fatfree yogurt w/ granola, fruits, and honey
Meal 2: Turkey sandwich on whole wheat, mustard, lettuce and other veggies
Meal 3: Grilled chicken w/ grilled fingerling potatoes, veggies and 1/2 cup brown rice
Meal 4: Miso soup w/ seaweed, tofu, and other veggies
Snacks: Include anything from fruits to granola bars
I've recently bought a Whey protein powder to help increase my protein intake. I usually drink it after working out. Should I drink it before working out?
Thank you all |

| Add some more Protein to Breakfast, and snacks. Don't just eat Fruits with snacks, as your body will lose out on Amino acids, and potentially Catabolise muscle. |

Peanut Butter is a bit fatty ,and can sometimes be Salty, don't waste your time.
Also Tuna. Stick to 1 can every 2-3 days, the potential Mercury risk from 1 can a day, isn't worth it. |

| Good to know that, I'm not a big fan of peanut butter. I've added legumes and a bit of cheese to the diet. |

I would delete the turkey if it's deli.
I would also get rid of the granola kick!
OMG soup has tons of sodium..... |
