Hi
Im new and actually very skeptic towards the whole supplement scene. Thing is.. it becomes rather difficult always trying to keep proper meals every 3 hours with varsity and other commitments.
So i thought ide invest in a MEAL REPLACEMENT supplement which consists of both a carb and protein source. This would function only for those tight moments where no food is available, or proper meal preparing is a problem.
I am from South Africa, and the meal replacement supplement i purchased is called "Muscle fuel". I link for all info on the product: http://www.usn.co.za/pages/products/meal_replacements/muscle_fuel.htm
Im really not too clued up about supplements, and i was hoping someone could maybe look into this product for me and tell me if it would be good for lean muscle retention / gain; and fat loss.
If it isnt that effective, it would be great if someone could help clue me in on the substances i should look for in the nutritional info of meal / protein replacements.
Any help would be greatly appreciated |

That's a good one by the looks of it. Funny enough my place sells that, but I've never really paid much attention to the posters, as I don't buy powered MRP's, plus the posters are a bit brief as well.
I like the mix of Proteins in that, good Protein to Carb ratio, Maltodextrin should help with Synthesis of the Protein, as far as I know, and Calcium has been recently shown to aid with Fat reduction, so it looks pretty good. |
