Hi I'm new so I hope I am doing this right. I have gained 35 lbs since May I have health problems I am 44 years old my comfort weight is 115 I only get clear liquids and only 1000 Cal's day so I know now from my Dr.'s that my pituitary gland is in large this will be removed next month I also started taking a new medication around the same time as the weight gain started at this point I have mostly bedridden for the last 4 months IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS HAD THIS HAPPENED TO? and is there anything that is good to take for the hormones/ weight gain /no energy and very emotional I'm avg.1-2 clothing sizes aweek If you know of another chat room on topics like this or even sites for people over 40 that would be great thanks shoefly |

I can't recommend anything I'm afraid, but to offer you so much luck, and best wishes, and I really hope it all works out for you.
I'm sure you're finding things tough, but if you do need to let yourself go at anytime, please do post on the open chat section, and we will do what we can to assist and support you.
This site is here for peoples emotional and mental sides to to some extent, because mental strength, and emotional strangth and support, are important too .

| what foods can you eat? is there ant restrictions and if so what are they? exercise wise what can or will you be able to do?? |

Hi there,
I'm sorry you are frustrated. Is there anything else your doc will allow you to eat? Are you able to eat least eat broth from chicken and beef?
