I agree with after. Your weight training would not be as high quality if you did it after. You want your energy stores to be full for weight training.

you won't be able to squats as heavy as you could if you did HIIT first...there's 100 other reasons but that's probably the best

I actually prefer to do HIIT before weight training, maybe I'm in the minority. It doesn't affect my lifting at all. I've tried the reverse and find that doing HIIT before works best for me....so it may be personal preference. Fueling adequately is the most important thing.

you could do it in the same time doing squats, push ups or even chins... it is very intense though Smile
