| When I am running, first I stretch. Then I start, I start at a slow walk and move up to high speed after a minute. I will run for about five minutes at a high speed and then slow down to a walk for thirty seconds. However when I do the walk my shins start to ache. Its killing me. By the way I am doing this on a machine. You guys have any suggestions? thanks for any of the help |

| probably shin splints...rest up on the running as it's from over use try biking, x trainer and rower...for treatment you can ice them for temporary releif or get the masaged out which is the most painful thing i've ever had done and i almost cut my hand off 6 years ago |
