I have stuff on Mp3, that can be played on something like Realplayer for the PC and probably downloaded onto Ipod.
I don't use any media players like Ipod for the gym though.
The two best places I have been on for such stuff is Yourmp3.net and another one called drummerworld.com
I like mostly really old stuff, so Drummerworld was great. It has some really good Jimi Hendrix stuff on the Mitch Mitchell section, and other stuff by bands like the Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, Deep Purple etc etc.
You can if you want to download video stuff off it, they do that too.
Yourmp3 has dome good stuff by Atomic Rooster, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Whitesnake etc etc.
Worth looking for, as you can probably download the stuff to harddrive, then onto something like Ipod, so you'll get some great old rock stuff going back 25-40 years ago.
Most of what I dowloaded is older than me

oh yeah the same thing happens with me sometimes, well, i dont know your style of music exactly, other than the song zombie which i like, i listen to rock and rap mostly.
Anything with great beat, and makes you want put in more effort in your working out.
I have a special playist just for working out, that shuffles (plays randomly). So i dont get bored with the music I'm lsning to.
So I listen to most of eminem songs...I like to listen to the way I am, in it's 3 versions. One with marlyn manson, one remix from the curtains call album, and the original one.
I love love listening to skillet. Their musice is loud, and the sone rebirthing, makes me want to sprint as hard as I can, even whispers in the dark.
POD: it's the payback.
The game: put you on the game...
50 cent (not a big fan), but in the club...
songs with good beats, and loud...these are just few, but I listen up 80-90 songs...hope that helped. |

You should get music that pumps you up. You could try some instrumental music thats played in operas, I know it sounds funny, but it works for me. Here's a sample:

X-Ray Dog - Gothic Power
Or songs likes "Remember The Name" (the one on NBA) and such. |
