soreness is a good thing it means you really worked out well |

Not necessarily.
DOMS doesn't indicate a good workout necessarily, as it could happen when you train well, but logically if you then went past that point to where you overdo it, then you would still get DOMS, but overtrain.
Soreness might not be good if there's some kind of accompanying stiffness.
I would say though, if you have gotten DOMS, you're 90-95% likely to be okay, and that it's nothing to do with the things I just mentioned. |

yes and no
i'm hardly ever sore except for the first week of a program but the 100kg deadlifts tell me i'm working hard |
