Ok, so I admit it, I get lazy and never stretch before working out. I'll stretch between sets when using weights, but never before/after cardio. Well luck finally caught up with and decided to spite me directly in my calf muscle. I can barely walk now. So besides the obvious of I need to stretch from now on, which I learned the hard way, what type of cardio can I do that does not involve my legs?
I like to start my workouts with about 5 minutes of hardcore cardio, usually treadmill, ski machine, stair climber, etc... Only problem is they all involve use of my legs which I am trying to nurse back to good health.
Also, after my leg feels like it's back to normal, how long would you give it before working it out again? |

| Givce it another week off, or do something like Exercise Bike and go for a really low setting, just to see how it responds to peddalling, especially as most of your upper body weight, shouldn't be bearing down on the muscles, it should be channelled into the seat or saddle. |
