Still maintaining at 124-126 lbs Haven't been able to run much outside this winter because of the snow, ice and below freezing temperatures, but have gotten to the gym several times. Looking forward to spring so I can start training for half marathon at the end of May! http://i7.photobucket.com/albu...

HOLY CRAP! That race was MUCH more difficult than I'd thought it would be! Getting started was REALLY slow - about the first 5-10 minutes was people all herded together and trying run but not being able to. We all moved at a slow crawl for the first little bit. Then got going good, but there was a t...

I ran over 5 miles on Tuesday this week!! Haven't had energy to do the weight lifting at this point though. Did have a nasty fall last week. Was running and came up on a sidewalk that was closed... it looked OK, so I kept running. Ended up tripping and skinned knee up really bad, but it's healing!! ...

Been getting to the gym 3x per week for about a whole MONTH now and I've lost just a couple pounds but clothes are fitting loser and body is so much FIRMER. Instead of going to the gym once this week, I actually went outside and jogged about 3 miles (with minimal walking) - I jogged at about a 10:00...

Took your advice today - started with weights and then did one set per muscle and did 2 circuits. Here's how it went down: Stretch Warm-up: 2 min walk, 3 min run, 2 min walk One set of 12 reps for each of these muscles: chest, triceps, back, biceps, quads, calves, inner thighs, abs Then repeat Cardi...

I lost the weight with pretty much diet alone. BMR is about 1400 and I have a desk job. I suppose it's also worth noting that I have hypothyroidism (I actually had thyroid completely removed) so metabolism may be on the slower side anyway. I'm now eating 1600-1800 calories per day though with the ex...

Thanks! Lost all of that by eating fewer calories. I still ate foods that I like, but in smaller portions. I did pretty much eliminate fast food and soda though. I kept calorie goal around 1200-1400 per day. A typical day for me would look something like this: Breakfast - Protein bar Naked juice Mor...
