Re: Fat Around Button Area?
Hi Martin! So sorry for the lack of correspondence lately. In the past few weeks I've been moving, starting a new job, and getting settled in new town so things have been quite busy for me. How are things going for you? I don't have time to go back and re-read 3 weeks of posts... Any news on the dri...

Re: Healthy eating virtually impossible for me
What kind of beans exactly? I went to the supermarket yesterday and there was like 10 different kinds. Lentils are favorite as I believe they have the most protein and fiber. Black beans, kidney beans, navy beans, chick peas.... are all great. You might buy a couple of bags and see which ones you l...

Re: Healthy eating virtually impossible for me
Great advice on the beans... however I've found that bagged beans (the dehydrated kind that need to be soaked and cooked) are much cheapter than canned. Atleast they are around here anyways.Athene wrote:syntheticocean wrote:20$ a week

Re: Fat Around Button Area?
Hi Martin, Don't worry too much about upper body workouts taking longer than lower body. For upper body you have your pecs, back, biceps, triceps, shoulders... 5 body parts. For lower body you really just have hams, quads, glutes, and calves... 4 bodyparts. This will make the lower body a bit faster...

Re: Diet on 'Off Week'
How should you approach your diet if you are taking significant time away from workouts? I will be unable to continue to workout for another 3 days, making it close to a week total... do I continue with normal diet/calories or do I scale back? Thanks. I would probably reduce calories a bit if I was...

Re: Healthy eating virtually impossible for me
Thanks for the help. Friday is payday and hopefully after all bills I'll have some left over to get a little food, but I foresee myself eating scraps for a while. I'm confused why you say that? Do you not think you could afford the foods suggested? I honestly think you could do it if you really wat...

Hi Amna, I think your plan sounds pretty darn good. I think building muscle during this month is going to be very challenging but do the best you can and you never know you might see some progress this month. :) I think maintaining fat during this month is a realistic goal. As long as you're not tak...

Oats- old fashioned rolled in the tubs, generic brand. A large tub is about $2.50 and will last you a while That is a very good option. The one thing you would obviously need to consider is that unlike what I said, about buying maximum size boxes of large biscuit cereal, this option will be a littl...

This is down from over 175 lbs and >20% body fat a year and a half ago or so. problem now is that I want to gain some size (muscle) and I would to know how many calories I should take in without gaining too much in the ...
