Re: FATS
Wow, I think I followed you, but a little confused. I know the recommended way of eating is 6 meals a day. I work at a place where between 10am and 4pm, I'm lucky to be able to get a chance to grab something to eat. I have to be discreet as I work at a food establishment and can't eat in while work...

Re: I went to a gym to get body analysis, and I am shocked.
Realistically if you change your eating habits to create a calorie deficit of about 500 calories and do a moderate amount of exercise to loose an extra 500 calories then in theory you could loose up to 2lb a week, it usually works out at 1 to 1/12lb a week on a regular basis. At 1 to 1 1/2lb pound a...

Re: FATS
Like you say it's good to debate. We have different views on this subject. Nothing wrong with six meals a day if it works for you but it doesn't work for every body. I take the view that if you eat a balanced fairly healthy diet then the body will adapt/react accordingly. History seems to bear this ...

Re: FATS
No point in arguing as it will get us no where, you have your opinion I have mine. If six meals a day is optimum then name, the society that does it ( don't think you can, as there isn't one because the food scientists would be pointing them out to us). which brings me to the main point the theory o...

Re: FATS
I still must poilitely disagree. They could have put things like Kidneys at risk, from heavy Protein consumption in large segments, not with a more drip feed methodology, that 6-7 meals gives you. If they were getting inadequate nutrition, they could have had Bone density issues, increasing fractur...

Re: FATS
Good response Dai, except for this comment that looks a little concerning. Two meals a day is ok, if that is what suits you and you can stick to it. I hope I'm wrong, but that looks like you're advocating two big caloric meals a day, or just two meals in general, instead of 5-6. Go back 25/35 years...

1 egg white, 1 scoop of whey, and just enough water to mix with. Heat for 1 minute and it makes some form of a cake. You can add natural peanut butter or sugar free syrup with it. I also mix mine with oatmeal or with peanut butter then chill it. It turns out to be almost fudge like. There are tons ...

dpends what you mean by seeing results. On average you will loose between 1-2lb a week so depending on how much you have to loose will depend how long it takes. It doesn't matter what or who's exercise system you use you need to get the nutrition side of things right , it's 80% food 20% exercise no ...

Re: P90X
Well I would like to get into a good routine that will give me a six pack in time for summer. I am 17, 5'8" and 158 pounds (Down from 220) and I would like to sculpt a six pack. I saw an infomercial for P90X (http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/best_sellers/p90x.do) and I am alre...
