I don't think you got too strong too fast. You must have done something wrong. I've experienced massive strength boosts a few times, seemingly out of nowhere, and I was never injured. I know how hard to push myself, though. Anyway, about the 'roids, I seem them as cheating. If you use them, you're p...

Proper nutrition before and after a workout can help a lot, as well as warming up thoroughly before hand, cooling down after (including stretching). Also, if you're sore, try some light cardio or something. Light bike riding or something like that, just to make your heart work a little more. That se...

It depends what you're doing.

Even unweighted exercises can hurt you, though. Take the necessary precautions and you should be fine.

I agree. Shorten things. Even a full-body work out shouldn't take that long.

If you want to do cardio in the same day (which I prefer, honestly) just do it later/earlier in the day.

Circuit trainer? They can be good.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter what you do. Bodyweight, home gym, gym membership... any of these can yield amazing results or kill you.

Depends on how you do them.

This whole post looks like a big spam effort to promote herself, honestly.

Anyway, you appear to be in good shape. Not attractive at all to me, but you seem to be in good shape.

Yeah... telling someone to avoid full body workouts because they're a beginner is just plain stupid.

How are they gonna learn, anyway?

You should actually squat around 1.5 times your body weight. 1.0 on the bench, though, so you're looking good there.

But now you're basing your prescription to this person solely on YOUR way of doing things. Perhaps she is more like me and she can squat much lower, much more easily.

Just saying, I disagree. I do a lot of exercises (particularly lower back ones) that people at gym say are bad and dangerous. I take it slow and easy and if anything hurts, I stop. I'd say it's more important to have common sense than a personal trainer just telling you what is "right" and...

According to this: Tension in the thoracolumbar fascia can also be increased by motion of the arms, legs and trunk. Posterior rotation of the pelvis causes an increase in flexion at he lumbosacral junction and hence increases tension in the thoracolumbar fascia. Lumbar spine flexion also passively i...

You bend your back before you're parallel? That sounds like very bad technique on your part. I can go far below parallel (almost butt to the ground) before back bends. Of course, if you do it way, be sure to keep the weight low. Even 135 lbs can be a very good workout, where as I typically squat (go...

Oh, ok.

Well, I don't recommend just jumping up to it, but yeah, go ahead and see how much you can do. The full sets, I mean.

And I wouldn't worry about doing 1.5 times your body weight. Just constantly keep yourself challenged and never accept defeat. That way, you'll keep getting stronger.

If you can't do the full sets of that weight, just lower the weight and continue working with it. Eventually you'll get stronger and you'll move back up to 125 lbs and you'll be able to do the full sets. Honestly, going heavier and only doing a few sets is easier (for me at least). I have wonderful ...
