Re: Most Efficient Use of Time
Sammel, Thanks for the response. Yes caring for child while wife is at work. I wasn't trying to use child for a reason not to work out, just trying to figure out the best workouts to do when I do have time to work out. I've been trying different things the last couple weeks, starting to get into a r...

High Protein Bread
A grocery store near me just started selling bread made locally that has 14g protein per slice! Haven't tried it yes and the slices are a little on the large side but is there such thing as getting too much protein in one sitting or does it depend on the source of protein?

Most Efficient Use of Time
So I'm trying to lose about 15-20lbs. I lost around 30 a couple years back and haven't visited the forum in a while. I know it's mostly diet that's keeping me from getting the remaining weight off, but I've been very inconsistent with workouts as well, something that I'd like to change and soon. Qui...

Re: Wrist Pain
The weird thing is it's been feeling consistently better every week and felt about 90% today, until I tried a reverse curl on a long bar with no weight. Apparently that's all it took.

Wrist Pain
I was doing some ez-bar reverse curls about 6 weeks ago and tweaked something in wrist. If left hand is laying flat, palms down, it's the left side where hand ends and wrist starts to about half way down forearm. I had problems doing half of major lifts for 4 weeks or so and just got back to full st...

Re: Finish what I started...
ok, I can do that. I believe a year ago it was swanso that suggested the waterbury method which I've been using ever since. I'll just go to the same site and look for some variations. Yes I agree it is time for a change. Wish I knew that before I printed out a couple dozen workout sheets! Tis ok, di...

I don't want to sound naive but I'm not really sure what you're getting at. You're saying body has adapted so I should be changing diet or workout program?swanso5 wrote:the body gets 6 looks at a program before adaption accurs
i think you've had more then that

Re: Finish what I started...
"Make sense?" Yes, very much so. I love hard boiled eggs so it's easy to add 2 or 3 to breakfast, that'll work. I usually only have one yolk no matter how many I have though. All the lean proteins listed are fine and do-able, the carbs I can easily pick 4 or 5 out of there to work with as ...

Re: Finish what I started...
I understand why you're telling me to eat more, it just doesn't feel right while trying to lose weight, but I'll take your advice. Is getting that much protein that important? Even when trying to lose weight? That being the case, any suggestions on how to get that much protein in breakfast? Another ...

Re: Finish what I started...
Thanks Cassie. I have around a 1/3 cup of special k protein plus + 1/3 cup kashi golean crunch + 1/2 cup skim milk. I have this 5 days a week and would rather not change it. I love this for breakfast before work! I have an apple mid morning. Lunch I'll have Chicken, Tuna, or Egg Salad (3, one yolk) ...

Finish what I started...
Last year at this time I started a diet and exercise/lifting routine. 3-4 months later I had lost 30 lbs. The rest of the year I continued to eat well but focus more on building muscle. This year I would like to finish the job and get down another 20lbs. I'm 6'1" and started at 235 and weigh ar...
