Re: Trouble Gaining Strength

Most of my meals are eaten at my dining hall so the options are limited and my diet is not exactly the cleanest especially during the weekend, but here is a typical day: Breakfast(around 830): either 4 hard boiled eggs or scrambled with 1 sizable pancake, fruit, and this coffee cake sort of pastry a...

Trouble Gaining Strength

Hey everyone so I was wondering if someone could give me some advice as to why it seems like I cannot gain strength. I have been lifting weights since my senior year of high school and now I am a junior in college. I have been able to lift more than I did 3 years ago but the last year and a half I s...

Trouble getting protein in college

Since I have started college, I have found that getting the amount of protein I need to gain mass is very difficult. There is a dining hall where I usually get most of my protein, but I can only go there twice a day. I have a few high protein things such as peanut butter and protein powder, but that...

looking for quick high protein morning meals

For awhile I have been waking up getting ready and not eating much for breakfast. I lift weights and know that you should eat a good amount of protein and cals. I always eat a banana and a energy bar that only has 8g protein which comes to around 300 cals but im always hungry after. If someone could...

Looking for an all around good arm workout

I have been lifting awhile and seen slight gains from different muscle groups, but it seems like my arms stay at the same strength. I'm going to post what I do and see if anyone could help me out by switching or seeing what might be wrong. Bicep: Seated Hammercurls: warmup with 15lb. 12reps, go up t...

Having some trouble with ab workouts.

For awhile I have had some back issues. Its not severe, but whenever I do something like situps or even crunches on a workout ball, my back starts to hurt. I am not sure if its that I'm doing it wrong or if I should just find other workouts for abs that won't effect my back. I someone could let me k...

Re: Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?

I know that I should eat more and that protein is needed to rebuld the muscle. But by eating ice cream and pizza i dont see that really helping building muscle. I know that you should have a good protein and carb source throughout the day to rebuild the muscle at least that is what I have gathered f...

Re: Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?

What I usually have done in the past is go to the gym monday, wednesday, and friday. My workouts start off with a few pushups and situps to warmup. Then I go do some dumbell presses or chest press machine(sometimes I do both the same day because I feel like I will not get sore the day after). Then I m...

Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?

I am a fairly skinny guy just to inform you, but this is from my experience of what happens to me. From what I have learned I have been told to take on mass you have to stay consistant and allow the muscles to heal. I have heard you should take at least 48 hours to heal. The problem with me is that ...
