Re: Trouble Gaining Strength
Most of meals are eaten at dining hall so the options are limited and diet is not exactly the cleanest especially during the weekend, but here is a typical day: Breakfast(around 830): either 4 hard boiled eggs or scrambled with 1 sizable pancake, fruit, and this coffee cake sort of pastry and 2 cups...

Trouble Gaining Strength
Hey everyone so I was wondering if someone could give me some advice as to why it seems like I cannot gain strength. I have been lifting weights since senior year of high school and now I am a junior in college. I have been able to lift more than I did 3 years ago but the last year and a half I seem...

Trouble getting protein in college
Since I have started college, I have found that getting the amount of protein I need to gain mass is very difficult. There is a dining hall where I usually get most of protein, but I can only go there twice a day. I have a few high protein things such as peanut butter and protein powder, but that ha...

looking for quick high protein morning meals
For awhile I have been waking up getting ready and not eating much for breakfast. I lift weights and know that you should eat a good amount of protein and cals. I always eat a banana and a energy bar that only has 8g protein which comes to around 300 cals but im always hungry after. If someone could...

Looking for an all around good arm workout
I have been lifting awhile and seen slight gains from different muscle groups, but it seems like arms stay at the same strength. I'm going to post what I do and see if anyone could help me out by switching or seeing what might be wrong. Bicep: Seated Hammercurls: warmup with 15lb. 12reps, go up to 2...

Having some trouble with ab workouts.
For awhile I have had some back issues. Its not severe, but whenever I do something like situps or even crunches on a workout ball, back starts to hurt. I am not sure if its that I'm doing it wrong or if I should just find other workouts for abs that won't effect back. I someone could let me know ab...

Re: Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?
I know that I should eat more and that protein is needed to rebuld the muscle. But by eating ice cream and pizza i dont see that really helping building muscle. I know that you should have a good protein and carb source throughout the day to rebuild the muscle at least that is what I have gathered f...

Re: Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?
What I usually have done in the past is go to the gym monday, wednesday, and friday. workouts start off with a few pushups and situps to warmup. Then I go do some dumbell presses or chest press machine(sometimes I do both the same day because I feel like I will not get sore the day after). Then I move...

Trouble on how often should you lift for building muscle?
I am a fairly skinny guy just to inform you, but this is from experience of what happens to me. From what I have learned I have been told to take on mass you have to stay consistant and allow the muscles to heal. I have heard you should take at least 48 hours to heal. The problem with me is that whe...
