I don't know anything about bands. To me though using DB requires resistance against gravity, more coordination.Not sure how one would gauge the exact amount of force output with bands ? Range of motion would be the same, but there would still be the side to side & back to front balance missing, with a fixated bar.

Word I hate the weather here..saw the sun, so cooked oatmeal. By the time I was ready it started pissing rain. An hour later I finally got to head out for sprints..

The only issue I have with smith machines is they take out the need for the body to stabilize itself during the lift. So the core & lateral stabilizer muscles will not be utilized to the same degree. Today's workout is sprints, however its raining, so whenever it stops...I'll be out there :) I h...

Day before run I ate complex carbohydrates with each meal except after dinner. Then got up had eggs & toast( silver hills squirrel bread ). Couple hours later I ate usual 2/3 cup of oatmeal & shake, seemed to last the whole run.

When I had spine realigned, immediately afterwards right knee started feeling like it would give out. So much so I stopped in the mall to try & stretch it out. I almost called miss bone person to ask her what the hell she had done. It went away a few hours later.

No, mine you can find on BB.com..about 90 degree leg lift, though I'm finding them to easy so I might take it to that level or add weights.
