2 weeks is not enough time to notice a big difference. It takes time. Good job getting started! It does not sound like you are eating often enough. Try eating a small mat that contains protein and carbs every 3 hours. Add in some good fat sources. Your portions should be small.

I agree with bossman. Start with some intervals. As you progress you will be able to hold the faster speed longer. Your cardiovascular system will improve the longer you do this. It takes time but you will improve. Also look at your form when you're running and see how it is. Your body should be lar...

Do your weights first. Or better yet, do them on separate days or a different times of the day so both will be higher quality.

Welcome! Yes, both cardio and weights. You can do a lot just with your body weight (squats, lunges, push ups, dips, etc.). A few pair of dumbbells will give you a great variety as well. For cardio, get a piece of equipment that you will enjoy the most. Or, buy clothes appropriate for the climate you...

Good posts above. Lifting such light weights for high reps will help improve the endurance of your muscles and burn some calories, but it won't accomplish your goals. Also on leg days you are wasting time with a lot of isolation exercises. Compound lifts work a lot better, things like squats and dea...

Thanks, you know what I normally do is copy and paste just before I hit post. But, as usual, mind runs a million miles a minute as a multi task, and a few things get forgotten. Training has been going very well. It's been 4 weeks and I can see improvements. comfortable pace for general aerobi...

You got great advice above already, but I just wanted to add to be patient. Some women's bodies just take longer to get back to pre pregnency weight than others. Everyone is different. Your body just went through a huge event. Try not to worry too much about it. You WILL get back to where you want i...

I could not disagree with the woman in the video more. Heel strike is a huge cause of injury and it's also inefficient. Pick up a book called Chi Running. It's all about good running form. You shouldn't literally run on your toes, but more of your weight should land in the ball of your feet. The mus...

You may not need to actually eat more, if you're doing significantly less cardio. I would recommend sticking with your current calorie range. If you're not seeing growth, then you'll know you need to add more. Also, remember to continually increase the weight you are lifting, while maintaining prope...

Hopefully it's just because they feel chilly. Seriously though, I've had quite a few people tell me they wear plastic bags during their workouts so they lose more weight. Aaaahhhhhhhh! Things like that make me want to pull hair out.
