Hello!

I haven't been around here in a looooooong time! So I noticed a few, actually, a lot of changes with the shapefit.com site. I have to ask though---did they get rid of user profiles and those pages where you could put in what you ate and calculate how many calories you took in that day? As well as th...

Re: High Intensity vs. Moderate Intensity

I've been doing 1 hour of working out, 5 days a week. 3 days a week I do both; 30 minutes of moderate intensity (usually just walking or jogging on treadmill) followed by some sort of 30 minute high intensity workout (sometimes the workouts are only 12 minutes long (like the exercises on Bodyrock) s...

Re: 2 years

Thanks all! bf recently saw how dedicated I am, this time around, to losing weight, and agreed to finally bring treadmill up from the basement and into our bedroom. Am now using treadmill for walking/jogging 5 days a week for 30 minutes (realized last month, after gaining a small...

Question about flaxseed

I just bought whole flaxseed while grocery shopping to add into diet. I want to add it to morning oatmeal, and I know because the flaxseed is whole, I need to ground it first, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much I should add to 1/2 *cup of old fashioned (plain) oatmeal. Thanks in adva...

Re: 2 years

musculArgirl2--I check in with bodyrock on personal FB account (I have them "liked") so I check out their workouts when they post them, but I don't really follow them. I use their tools to create own workout sessions since I don't have a lot, no wait...I have none of the equipment they hav...

Re: bodyrock tv or zuzkalight?

I like both. I prefer zuzkzlight a little more than bodyrock, but bodyrock has some really good workouts too. The biggest differences between them is bodyrock uses equipment that you may, or may not, have (and if you want to purchase the equipment they use, it can get pretty spend-y). Sometimes you ...

Re: protein shake with water?

I just bought some Chocolate flavored Whey Protein powder. I mix it with water, and it doesn't taste that bad, but it definitely does taste "different". Not bad though, it's not like I have to choke it down to get it down like others I have tried. It's this one if you're interested: https:...

Re: I have a question

Thanks for replying bossman, I was hoping you would have an answer for me! :)

I actually did realize today that I had increased salt intake...so maybe that was it. Tomorrow is a leg day, so I'll keep an eye on it and see if it does it again.

I have a question

Concerning swollen legs after doing a lot of lunges, and squats. 2 Days ago, Monday, I did a workout that consisted of doing a lot of lunges and squats. I knew from the amount of squats/lunges I did I would be sore yesterday, and I was. What I was not expecting was when I woke up this morning, both ...

Wearing size 14's now!

Last year bf's sister gave me a bunch of her old jeans that she no longer wore, or that were too small for her. She figured most of them would fit me since hips are smaller than hers, but at the time she gave them to me, they did not fit. The pant sizes were mostly 14/15 some "petite" some...
