Re: Pre and post workout nutrition
Protein powder is a great thing to add to your diet pre and post, make sure it is not loaded with sugar though. As for your pb sandwich, organic peanut butter and whole wheat bread. Your program sounds like a good starter program but will likely need to be amped up in time. Keep us posted on how it ...

Blitz, The bench press is altar in the gym, glad you asked this, i bench currrently 225/23 275/10 and 315/3 if you look at pic here i do not have a football frame or anything, here's a great starter chest program that hits it from every angle and will leave you nice and sore, try to raise the weight...

Re: Time to start cardio after Weights???

Re: I need a personal trainer. help
Hi Noeerv Well i am a personal trainer, but im not gonna try to sell you, before you go out and spend hard earned cash on a trainer you have to be committed, i've trained too many people that i had successfully lose weight and get fit and then they slipped back, now i try to train people more from t...

Re: Any advice please ....
dusty i'm gonna echo what the other poster said, you have to change it up! our bodies thrive on change, doing the same thing will always plateau, how about next time doing just 40 minutes straight on one machine, then the next time something else? Change your reps/exercises. Are you eating breakfast...

You lost 40 pounds in 3 months so as the other posters said, dont stop!!! It's time now to get into the next phase and reeducate yourself, are you eating first thing in the morning? Are you having healhty snacks between meals and a small dinner? CAn you increase intensity in the gym, circuit trainin...

starry your plan sounds great, just stick with it! committment will be the hardest thing by far,the only other thing i'd suggest is snacking between meals on healhty stuff, you want to eat every 3 hours. good luck and keep us posted! -Joe Personal Trainer http://www.fitnessfromgroundzero.blogspot.co...

Re: Abs Workout Question
Well here we go, ok so that is a lot, and yeah you'll get abs form diet and training, people who are skinny have abs already, but that doesnt mean the program is worthless, it's excessive but not worthless. However too often i see people concentrating too much on abs and not enough on cardio and lif...

Here's the deal, if you are not sore, in all likelyhood you can do abs everyday, you already work abs everyday in everything you do (this is really apparent when you have a gre...

Re: How to get 6pack in short period
Ken, unless you are already lean the only "tip" would be surgery. Ok here's the reality a good six pack can honestly be developed in 2 months, i've trained clients that couldn't do ten crunches and within 2 months were able to do 20 crunches, 20 side crunches, and a round of bicycles 3 tim...

Re: Finally some progress ... still need help

You've come a long way so whatever you are doing sounds like it is wor...
