Re: Fat Burning Chocolate

I understand what your saying. Yes coconut oil is probably the superior fat burner because its MCT's, but not everyone can take coconut oil. For instance, I have a mild nut allergy and try to limit nut consumption. Some nuts don't produce as big of an issue for me. But one-seeded drupes like coconut...

Fat Burning Chocolate

As crazy as it seems, we first have to forgot about all of the sugar-laden chocolate candy bars  that run the commercial chocolate industry. Only then can we take a step back, and start to observe, learn, and appreciate the health benefits of quality eating chocolate for what it is. Real choc...

Re: how much weight will I lose in a month with this diet

How can you survive only on fruit and tea??? :D Apparently you can't. As healthy and nutritious as fresh fruits are for you, a strictly fruitarian diet seems to be dangerous. There was a news report on the actor, Ashton Kutcher, who had adapted the the fruitarian diet to get into the role of Steve ...

Re: muscle structure

Interesting topic. I would assume the that the newly found evidence about how blood types affect ones health would suggest that genetics has a major role in our diet and ultimately our body type. If you haven't already, I would pick up a blood-type diet book for your specific blood type. It would pr...

Re: Muscle Milk vs. CytoGainer

Actually I think dates rank higher than maltodextrin on an Glycaemic index. maltodextrin is about 92 and Dates are actually about 105, but again quanity plays a part too. Bloodsugar spiking after workouts should be okay, as bloodsugar will be lower. It's when it's frequent and occuring when bloodsu...

Re: Muscle Milk vs. CytoGainer

Obviously I'm a bit late to this post however for anyone out there and it still not sure about Muscle milk, you should know that Muscle milk is more of a meal-replacement while Cytogainer is designed with the a optimum carb-protein ratio to build mass. Now as to whether or not they are good products...

I really don't run as much as I used to anymore which I'm sure is the only reason that shoes have lasted this long.

Re: Working out Barefoot?

I have a pair of these and I really like them for running outside. It's really killer on your calves, but it helps strengthen your legs differently than using running shoes. advice for running barefoot is to start slow and be wary of hills they can really mess you up if you don't run a lot and have...

Re: Foot Pain After Running, Jumping Jacks etc

I had a similar problem after years of running and playing sports. Most of the time I would use shoes not designed for running, which ended up making me flat-footed and destroyed arch. Following this I went from running 10 miles every other day, to not being able to run at all for several months. Bu...

Re: will protein shakes help me get abs showing

Supplements cna work for definition and so can proteinb shakes. Protein shakes help buil muslce, more muscle burns more calories, and voila, more definition. Providing that is the diet is good enough and after a certain point, definition will be harder to keep or maintain if you bodybuild and you'r...

Re: The Boss Man Method

The 6 meals a day thing is not well versed in scientific tome it's true and it is about calories in over a lengthy wakened period, but I believe in the 6 meals a ay thing as I think it promotes better meal planning for some and some people eating large meals 3 times a day could succumb to things li...
