Aloe Vera. It's simple and effective against most skin problems.

Foods rich in vitamin E also help, IMO.

Cardio works out the heart which in turn requires oxygen consumption. It's possible that your cardio is triggering some residual effects of asthma you had as a kid.

i recommend that you check with a doctor before doing intense cardio. You can also adapt your workout to something different like yoga.

I'm in favor of proteins for kids along with vitamins (specially vitamin C). I've noticed that this combo keeps their sugar cravings at bay and lets them indulge once in a while.
