Re: Is cardio training general or sport-specific?
It's good to do cardiovascular exercise in general but if you must run races or swim, it would be best to do a lot of that to be specifically fitter for your designated sport.

Re: When is best to exercise?
I like to exercise soon after waking up to get it out of the way for the rest of the day. If you like to walk, run or bike outside, it's best to get out of bed in the morning, use the bathroom, eat a few bites of nuts or a fruit then do your exercise then come home and eat a full breakfast to avoid ...

Re: power crashes quickly

Re: Which upper body exercises should I combine and alternate?
Because it's not wise to do strength training on the same muscle group on consecutive days and you mainly want to work your upper body, I suggest that you set aside three days a week to work out. Spend a small fraction of your session doing leg exercises and devote the rest of your session to doing ...

How to quickly get a full body weight lifting workout
A great way to quickly strengthen your arms, stomach, legs and sides is to bench press a barbell or a container full of books or small weights at a regular angle, then a northwest angle then a northeast angle.

To build explosive strength, you can adopt a power lifter regimen in which you lift as much weight as you can with your arms and legs in less than five repetitions.

Re: Pains in Feet
Take a break from running and consider walking. If walking is too painful for your feet, try other aerobic exercises that shouldn't bother your feet such as swimming and cycling.
