Re: quinoa nutrition

It seems like a good choice for a side dish to me. Adding chicken or prawns and maybe some vegetables and you've got a good meal.

Re: Need help with fat loss routine

Work on both cardio and weights. It will give you the best benefits.
As for your diet, it seems like you're doing pretty well. Maybe add in some whole grains and a bit more protein and you're good. Good luck!

Re: Food For Kids

Thanks for this. These days, a lot of people feel like they are too busy to cook healthy meals for the family, which means that many kids end up eating processed food that is bad for their health. A good tips is to make sure you have vegetables and fruits around the house so that you can give them t...

Re: eating plan

I think generally you're eating a healthy diet. I would suggest eating something for breakfast, however, as studies have shown that eating breakfast is good for your health for a number of reasons. Try having some vegetables or fruits and a healthy protein and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise...

Re: Anyone doing stoptober?

e-cigarettes are possibly better than smoking, I've read conflicting advice. However, not doing either is certainly better. However, good for you that you've decided to quit smoking cigarettes. You'll find so many different benefits in so many areas of your life. Great work.

Re: More exercise I do the more weight I'm gaining

It could be that you're gaining muscle. As mentioned above, you should probably only weigh yourself once a week, at the same time and wearing similar clothing. More importantly, how do you feel? Does working out make you feel better? If it does, that's great! Keep going!

Re: Workouts for people on the road?

Yes, going for walks can help. There are also a lot of things that you can do in your hotel room such as push-ups, situps, tricep dips, etc. Be creative and try to come up with some exercises you can do in your room. Good luck!

Re: Light exercises for people with medical issues?

Whatever you do, start slowly and take breaks. If you feel unwell, recognize this and know when to stop. Try walking for starters. Instead of driving places, walk to them if it's reasonable. That being said, you should probably ask your doctor what he or she means by "light exercise" and f...

Re: Feel like I'm not making progress, any advice?

As others have said, it generally seems like you're doing what you should be doing. I know it can be discouraging if you're not making the progress that you wanted, but keep going and you will progress over time. Good luck!

Re: 19 Year old,how to lose fat

I agree with those stating that the time between your meals is too long. Try to adjust them or add in some healthy snacks. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, eggs, yoghurt, etc. are all good options for snacks on a vegetarian diet.

Re: i got sunburn

Use sunscreen and dress appropriately. When it comes to sunscreen, remember that not all of them are created equal. You'll want to use sunscreen that protects against both UVA and UVB. These are often labeled "broad spectrum."

Re: from 350 to 225 to 290

Congrats on dropping the weight the first time. Now that you've done it once, you know that it's possible, so you can do it again. Rather than beat yourself up for gaining weight again, think about everything you did the first time and how good it felt to have a healthier life and body. That will in...

Re: Advice on Workout Routine

Congrats on sticking to a workout routine for many months. That's certainly a good place to be. I echo the comments from others. Getting in good shape (and staying there) requires a combination of healthy eating and exercise. Losing a pound or so a week is a good, healthy goal. One of the main probl...
