Re: Weight Loss Advice

This kind of system might work for you. It's something I've posted before. Breakfast Option 1. Bowl of Whole-grain Cereal and scrambled Eggs, (2 Egg Whites + Yolk) Option 2. Protein shake, small portion of Nuts, (excluding higher carb ones like Cashews, Chestnuts and Grapenuts). Snack Option 1. Port...

Re: Weight Loss Advice

Hi Rhya, good to talk to you. No it is not strictly necessary to join a gym for the purposes of weight loss, but it can certainly help providing you do the right thing(s). In relation to your diet what times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times? What kind of weights do you have and...

Re: Question regarding keto diet

No I have not used one of those calculators nor been on the diet, but to be honest your carbs will be considerably lowered and frankly I don't think you or anyone needs to do it, as it is not necessary in any way for weight loss.

Re: Keto diet question

In short, adult females need around 1,800 calories a day, but on days when you're accounting for exercise you could allow for another 200-400 calories. As for protein, you only need around 0.8-1.2g per lb of bodyweight. When working out calories, there''s 5 basic things you need to know. Protein is ...

Re: Republican Or Democrat

She couldn't have been crazy, because she saw through that slimy turd-ball long before many American's ever did and I mean the ones that didn't vote for him.

Re: Keto diet question

Hi Teresa, good to talk to you. To be honest I'd avoid the Ketogenic diet altogether. It basically is useful for a short while for people like pro stage age athletes, but in general it's a bit extreme and unnecessary as a regular thing. You have said it gave you issues before compered to what you we...

Re: Help with basics?

I have never used any such food tracker websites no, but I did once download a PC app called Diets In Details which is pretty easy to use and has an interesting interface. It wasn't because I was serious about using it, but because it interested me and I wanted to see what it was about. As for the s...

Re: Republican Or Democrat

The one thing about your first statement which is a little off centre for me and this is not a criticism, is that by saying Trump and his supporters should pay for a wall along the Mexican border, is to me implying that any wall is a justifiable act against the Mexican's and I don't believe it's an ...

Fitafter50 wrote:"Lirping" is a new one on me, Boss, but I'm glad to increase my vocabulary. Now I can refer to someone as a lirper when I mean rude and arrogant! :D

Well I wouldn't necessarily do that, as I don't know if a person doing what I said is called what you said.

Re: Amazon River Raft Race Training

Well for the training you could do a schedule something like this using just body weight. Squats, 2 sets, 10 reps Lunges, 2 sets, 10 reps Deadlifts, 2 sets, 10 reps Bench Press, 2 sets, 10 reps Bent over Rows, 2 sets, 10 reps Shrugs, 2 sets, 10 reps Planks 30 seconds. You would do that 3x a week eve...

Re: Sisters in Sweat Journal (but all are welcome)

Pointless bit of trivia, but that snapping of the fingers thing some people do in restaurants to attract waiting staff, is called lirping.

Re: Republican Or Democrat

The fact he said he wanted the wall and the Mexican's to pay for it is a joke in itself. I'd be happy for the Mexican's to pay for the wall it meant it was built around Trump, so he couldn't have any effect on American people or anyone else again. I was confused when many people voted Trump instead ...

Re: Amazon River Raft Race Training

Hi Luke, good to talk to you.

Do you do any weight lifting currently and if not are you in a position to join a gym or purchase equipment for at home use, or would you just be looking to do body weight exercises?
