Re: Skinny Fat trying to lose body fat

Hi ab102 good to speak to you.

The first thing to look at would be how you eat, so what times do you eat at and what foods do you eat at those times?

Re: Do protein shakes help you in weight lifting?

Hi Puja, good to talk to you. Protein shakes can be useful if you get the right sort of ones, but to be honest if your eating is right then thee is no immediate need to use one, the moment lifting potential hits a stumbling block. Sometimes peoples progress can be stalled by using the same workout c...

Re: Repman: Staying fit over 50

Hi Repman, good to have you on board. Personally I get lured into that failure mentality years ago, thinking it was the be all and end all and it maximised your sets, but several years back I came to the conclusion, it wasn't all that. Basically dropping one rep of your sets or not doing that last s...

Re: When is best to exercise?

Research from years ago indicated that a time between around 1PM and 5PM might be best, as that is when the body is most alert, at a time after it has fully woken and before it starts winding down.

Re: My quest for the ultimate diet

Hi Red, good to speak with you. I'd avoid decaff coffee, as one of the methods used to make it requires the beans to be jet washed with a carcinogenic chemical, so drinking it could increase your risk of cancer, because logically even if you called the manufacturers hotline, they wouldn't admit to u...

Re: Motivation for a mommy

As for the training you could do a schedule something like this Squats, 2 sets, 10 reps Lunges, 2 sets, 10 reps Deadlifts, 2 sets, 10 reps Bench press, 2 sets, 10 reps Bent over Rows, 2 sets, 10 reps Shrugs, 2 sets, 10 reps Planks 30 seconds. You would do that 3x a week every other day. As for what ...

Hi Sudhasetty, good to speak with you. Yes, females can build muscle at any age, even over 65, so there is certainly on reason why you can't. Do you have any kind of gym access close to where you live or are you mostly only able to train at home and if so, have you got any equipment and would you be...

Re: Weight Loss Nutrition Help - How Many Calories?

I'd suggest your calories need only be around 2,200-2,500.

Why do you not cook or shop anymore?

Re: Weight Loss Nutrition Help - How Many Calories?

Hi Mx3, good to speak to you. I don't think you need as many calories as the testing shows and I don't know why they needed to list some of the caloric expenditure's relating to sport, such as Japanese fencing and gateball, as most people probably wouldn't do such things as a casual thing anyway. I'...

What sort of times do you eat at and what sort of foods do you eat at those times?

Is there any sort of system you are trying to implement at this time?

Re: 19 years old, need advise on sizing up.

Hi Sod good to talk to you. Firstly being able to grow a beard at your age will come eventually even if all the facial hair has not come through yet. Secondly gaining more height and natural musculature at your age will be unlikely, as it will be dictated to a large extent by your bodies natural abi...
