Re: in fight with stomach fat !
prescription for you is to lift heavy things....regularly! Lift hard 3 days a week, eat well and get some (but not too much) cardio and you'll make a big difference. You don't appear to have a good muscle base so I think if you build that up, even if you still have some fat, you'll look tons better.

Re: How to weight the food? Weight them raw or cooked?
For myself, I weigh chicken/meat after it's cooked. I find this easier and more hygenic since you're not spreading raw meat all over. For other things though, raw is generally the way to go. I've looked up the cooked calorie values for various meats online. Chicken breast is in the upper 40's/cooked...

Re: protein bars
I like the Pure Protein bars. They're low sugar, lower fat than a lot of bars and have lots of protein. The snack sized ones are relatively inexpensive (about $1.25/bar at Walmart, cheaper on Amazon, I think). The snack sized ones are about 180 - 200 calories so if you're looking for a meal replacer...

Re: Condiments and dieting
Regular ketchup has about the same 3 grams of sugar/tbsp (or maybe 3.5 if you want to get technical). Meaning for a burger's worth, I'd get about 1.75 grams of hfcs. If that's the worst thing I eat in a day, I'm sure not going to feel bad!

Re: Condiments and dieting
Ketchup is sugary, however, if you use ~1 tbsp on a burger (and that's a lot of ketchup for one burger so I'd probably use about 1/2 a tbsp), how much sugar are you really getting? Not much...but that's just opinion. I used to feel as you do and not use ketchup at all so I know where you're coming f...

Re: Condiments and dieting
For myself, it's also about moderation. I'll use miracle whip or some such thing instead of mayo though because mayo is so high in calories (~100/tbsp!). I'm ok with ketchup (a little sugar won't kill me, right?...right?), I just try to use it relatively sparingly.

You need some confidence man! As amatlack said, you don't need our permission. Give something a try and you'll know whether or not it works for you. If you liked the calories the milk gave you, then just add some extra protein powder to make it up.
Re: LOWER ABS
Decline Reverse Crunches are very good as are your basic leg lifts. Not sure if they have demos of those exercises on this shapefit or not. If you can't find it, just go to youtube and search for them. Demo videos abound.

Re: 5 a day????
Snack on dried fruits, instead of high calorie foods. dried fruits are high calorie foods. I'm not saying you can't have them in moderation but don't mistake them for being low cal just because they're fruit. They are very calorie dense and it's all sugars so snack on them, but snack with restraint...

Re: Multi Vitamins and Flaxseed capsules
Ground hemp hearts are really good too. Lots of Omega-3's and a good dose of protein. One that I've been thinking about but haven't tried yet is ground chia seeds. They have an even better Omega-3 profile than hemp hearts do and also have a decent amount of protein.

Your eating a lot of calories too. That's a pretty relative measure. His weight is 290 lbs so 1750 to 2250 calories is certainly not a lot for his body. At his weight using the ShapeFit calculator, maintenance calories alone while working out 3 times/week is 3415 so his calories may even be a bit l...

Re: Gain 15 lbs in 15 weeks, possible?
I'm in the same boat in that I'm trying to gain muscle (preferably as efficiently as possible). I don't really need to lose any fat but I'd prefer to gain as little as possible. I started at 145.2 and recently upped calories to about 2700 (not including pre- and post-workout food on workout days) fr...

Well beyond silly (unless you wear pink frilly underwear). Can't say that I do....however, to get back on topic I have given up on wearing gloves due to the fact that I get a better "feel" for the weights without them. I will still wear them occasionally if one of calluses is causing prob...

What are you? Some sort of Democrat? Actually I'm Canadian :D That probably equates to Democrat to most Americans as we're seen as pretty liberal up here. However, I actually lean more to the right...in this case I just don't see the point of the discussion getting nasty. Discussing and disagreeing...
