I figured I'd post a little update since it has been a while... I'm currently doing an EDT program swanso designed in another thread, but between this and WM I went back to stronglifts 5x5 beginner to check strength levels... squat ended at 220 5x5 when I'd finished the stronglifts 5x5 program initi...

One additional question on the single arm shoulder press... Not sure what the exercise is called, nor if it is an acceptable replacement for this lift, but you basically take a bar, place one end of the bar into a room corner and the other end is loaded with weights, you press it over your head with...

1 - what are your current goals? 2 - you've got 5 exercises per session, do you really think we need to waste time on leg curls, tri ext and hammer curls? i hope not 3 - just note on basic program design...day 1 you have squats 5 x 5 then a pair of bent rows and stand shoulder presses... bet is you...

Foam Roller anyone?
I would really like to know where I can get a good quality roller that will last me forever (ideally)... I've checked a few websites, but I need somewhere that definitely ships to Canada - preferably for free!

I am reading about this type of training and I feel it is appropriate for current goals... I was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me some parameters for the workout - exercise pairs that are efficient but not overly complex/etc (I'm definitely willing to do some learning if necessary, th...

Re: Chest
Is there any particular exercise or workout i should follow to reduce man boobs. I know i am only 19, but i am still worried. I have been going to the gym for about a year now(lots of cardio to lose weight). I have only started training chest(mostly upper chest) for about 2 months, and boobs seem t...

Could this potentially cause harm?
I was wondering if I was to do decline bench press on this apparatus gym has - it is a 'half-bench' with a place for the legs and lower back but nothing further without sustaining injury? I am honestly not sure what it is, and the question sounds a bit simple, but I am just not entirely sure what it...

Ah, 80% of 1rm would make me fail at the 7th or 8th set most of the time in the beginning, so it took some time to get underway and figure out what I could steadily lift for 10x3. But yeah, 8rep weight used for six sounds like solid advice instead of using %'s. So, as for the fat loss.. what should ...

I guess I need an idea of how weight training works, as I understood that as a newbie, I should be able to lift heavy most of the time and make gains because the lifts aren't as taxing on the CNS as say, squatting 600lbs. The waterbury method offers suggestion to go 80/82.5/85 of 1rm each successive...

Another little update: I made first order from biotest... Got some superfood, a few bottles of their flameout and a half dozen metabolic drive - figured I'd go big... I'm definitely not disappointed, though. Grow mixes like a charm and tastes a thousand times better than the crap I normally buy, the...
