I eat 1/4 to 1/5 cup at night, about 30mins to an hour before bed. I am 5' 10" fairly well built , trying to gain muscle and lose a bit of fat. What do ya think of this? Still trade in for low fat cheese? the is so tempting cause of the protein content vs. fat and carbs (and tasty too).

Im sure that you have lots of knowledge and are a well respected member of these boards. I can see by your post count that you have a genuine interest in helping people. That being said, calling someone moronic and then assuming things about someone you don't know at all are not the best ways to go ...

traps

Thanks for the replys.

The reason i want bigger traps is because I feel that mine are small compared the rest of muscle structure. Maybe I worded the original question incorrectly. I don't see what is so moronic about balance.

Bumblebee packaged chicken

Anyone have an opinion about Bumblebee's packaged chicken. From the straight nutrition info it seems like a pretty good, easy, lean, source of protein. Any reason not to use it?

I want traps!!!

I am trying to get traps bigger as I am mad jealous of a guy at work that has big traps natrually  I am reading that people don't reccomend shrugs because of posture and that is fine with me cause the health of back is questionable anyways and I would need to go fairly heavy to get much benefit...

heavy lifts for core vs. ab specific exercises

This is first day on the boards. I am seeing some info that is surprising to me. I am shocked that heavy compound lifts could work abs better than ab exercises (especially since abs are sore after an ab routine and not after a legs routine) I am not doubting, but I would be very interested if anyone...

how about milk products?

How about milk products?

I eat a pretty decent amoutn of dairy:

-A little milk with oatmeal in the morning
-A piece of string cheese as a mid-morning snack
-A piece of cheese on sandwich
-Milk with protein shake
-Cottage cheese an hour or so before bed

How excessive is this?

Why is salt bad?

I understand that it makes me retain water, but so what? I am not trying to be a body builder. I also know that it raises blood pressure but if I monitor that and keep it under control, is there any other downside to salt?

Thanks
