I'd never knock down a PT, it's how I make a living.
Sounds like you are on the right track then!

Rock climbing chalk works fine for me. Vamp, if you want to get into power lifting someday, I'll tell you this: lifting maximal weight is not a comfortable or natural thing to be doing. It can be quite painful. A belt might feel awkward, but if you want to lift as absolutely as much as you humanly c...

yeah lifting heavy at a young age isn't a good thing. i learned that shit from experience. i messed up shoulders pretty bad going heavy weight with the wrong form. What does that have to do with your age? Anyone going heavy with bad form can get injured. In many places in the world, weightlifters s...

If you are trying for 5x5, maybe 330 is too much for you under the conditions you mentioned. A belt is not going to help you squat more weight, it just makes the weight easier to handle by providing tightness on the eccentric contraction. It helps to push against on the concentric. If you have a wea...

Belts restrict movement and possibly cause more damage than less. They offer a sense of false security that you won't hurt your back. Belts are for holding up pants not your back or core. cheers Oh crap and MEOW for whoever said belts are for pussies. A belt gives a little something to push against...

Instead of a 5 minute walk, make it 15 and head south towards the river. You'll find a great semi private gym near the end of Saint Antoine by Atwater: Epicentre Training in the RCA Building (Ste-Antoine & Lenoire). You'll find 1 day a week with a coach to be a very wise place to start. You can ...

See how you feel using creatine, it won't hurt you. Personally it makes me retain too much water, but that's just me. I have found that stacking beta alanine and BCAAs works very well for me, without the bloat. I cycle the alanine, but use BCAAs all the time.

If I tried a max pull weekly, I'd be finished, start or end of session. I did it this week, made 245, and it killed me for 4 days after. Aside from pulling off plates, what do the functional trainer and dinosaur BB'er suggest for increasing speed off the floor? (No offense, just saying). What do ya'...

That's because your core area (including lower back) is weak. Work on that. Not that wearing a belt is a bad thing, but use it for the heavy sets only.

Anyone at any weight can have cellulite, it has a lot to do with estrogen production. Make sure you drink enough water (4 liters/day) and start in with the heavy lifting.

In Canada, try Isoflex or MVP Nutrition. Most major cities have a Popeye's Supplements, they carry both.
