Ankle flexibility for swimming
Hello, I have very poor ankle flexibility and I need guidance to help correct it. Basically, feet can make a max of 135 degree angle when stretched outright, whereas fellow teammates can easily get to 180+. Even most people I've asked have far superior flexibility. It's negatively impacts swimming, and I've looked up some basic stretches, but it doesn't seem to do it for me. Any suggestions?

Pilates will definitely help. You can also try using a foam roller or "The Stick" on the back of the ankle (follow along the Achilles and calf) massage vigorously. Start with a short warm up walk, do the massage and follow with active and static stretching. Always finish your workouts with a good stretch since this is when you'll be the most pliable and get the most gains.
