Please, tips in resisting temptations.

Postby Smileey » Mon Feb 21, 2011 4:21 pm

I have been dieting and exercising for 3 months and after losing 25 pounds I have decided to join this website and I can't help but indulge in large quantities! I can almost say I've been binging. Or it feels as if I am.. I eat out of boredom or just because it tastes good! I tried to do things to keep my mind off of food but you know, I love it. lol which makes it harder. I honestly don't think I have an ED or anything but I do eat well and at least 1500-1800 calories a day. I slightly go over sometimes. I just need tips. TIPS. TIPS. TIPS. Thank you for your time. And please no mean comments.

If you're exercising you can afford to go in excess of 1,800 calories anyway.

1,800 is for sedentary females, so you could eat around 300-400 more than that.

What do you eat and what times do you eat.

I try to eat 5 small meals a day. Which is every 2-3 hours. But sometimes I go over my calorie intake! it drives me insane.

When I said what do you eat, I meant choices not the amount and size of portions :).

Apologies if I confused you in any way.

Try to keep yourself always busy so as not to turn your attention when you have nothing to do. Also, continue the exercises you've been doing.
