how to cut without losing too much muscle
i'm sure i saw something like this a long time ago but i can't find it so sry if you're sick of answering about this one... i've put on some weight and now i want to cut a little, how would i do that while losing the least possible muscle mass?
You could try calorie substituting. For example as things like Carbs and Proteins are 4 calories per gram, and Fats are 9 a gram, so if you have any sort of food, with a bit of saturaetd Fat in perhaps, cut down the portion, and add something to the meal that has Protein and / or Carbs, and try ot get abotu the same calories in the added food, as you did with the removed food.
So effectively, you take soem Fat out of the equation, without really sacrificing calories.
Or you could switch some foods with simple Carbs, or High GI carbs, for ones, that are more complex, and keep cals the same, as Simple Carbs can convert to Fat in the Liver.
