Lean not Buff

Postby tator09 » Mon Aug 03, 2009 6:34 pm

Hello everyone,
This topic has probably already ocurred but i'm an 18 year old male that is just starting college and I would like to have a workout which makes my muscles lean and not big and buffy. Since ive started working out ive been afraid that when I get my ending results i wont look how I want to look. So whats a workout routine that i can do at my local gym?
thank you all.

you have to work to get big bulky muscles. low weight high reps will tend to help the long n lean, but as for getting totally ripped duuuuude, unless you work at it, you should be fine with a lil definition!

lift high weight, low rep (3-5), 5- 6 sets, 3x per week full body.. 1 chest, 2 back, a squat or deadlift. Should refine this with someone like swanso or bossman or cassie. fix your diet!!!!!!! and do 2 interval days and one recreational cardio day and one day off.

Higher weight with lower reps will increase strengh and burn high calories but will not add heavy unwanted bulk. Food intake is very important to getting your desired body no matter what it is so start reading the stickies in diet/nutrition forum!

Cheers
