Stability ball exercise abs and core video

Postby lifemvsforward » Sat Feb 11, 2012 7:37 pm

One of my favorite exercises to do when training core and abs is a plank. This video shows a rep set using your abs to get you into a plank position on a stability ball thats great to throw in between your regular core workouts. Your holds can last as long as you want to maximize your workout but for beginners I recommended a 10 second hold for about 12 to 15 reps for 3 sets.

Love these exercises! I used to hate them, but they are some of the best things you can do, especially if you have back problems like I do. I used to be a heavy lifter, but since I hurt my back all of my work outs are core-centric, and I have never been in better shape in my life. I am actually running my first marathon next month.
