This workout was fun because of the location but brutal because its really effective. If you are looking to tighten up that mid section these ab workouts are a must in your daily regimen.

To be honest I'd be concerned about the stress on the joints.
If I do planks, which your exercise technically isn't, I balance on the toes and the forearms, never the toes and palms, for stability, but also to spread the load more and reduce the risk of strain or injury to the wrists.
Your exercise might be better served, by using the same leg movements, but balancing on the toes and forearms, not toes and palms. If you can get sufficient enough height off the ground, that you're not going to restrict the movement of the Legs, you could do what you were doing, in a potentially safer way, with potentially no loss of stimulus or intensity placed on the abs.
