I've known this for awhile, but I really noticed it tonight that I have a 5 pack, not a 6 pack. I can see a 3 pack on the left side and only a 2 pack on the right side. What did I do wrong to cause this?

not to alarm you but you may have a nerve problem..when nerves signals are weak, muscles don't get adequate stimulation to gro and get stronger...maybe go to a chiropractor and see if anythng needs to be adjusted or released

I can't comment on what Swanso said, but to say I would 100% trust what he said.

I would however say, there may be a slight possiblity your technique is to fault.

It might be whatever exercise(s) you're doing for the Upper Abdominal section, you're technique is a little off, or you're body is moving to much to one side during the motion, taking emphasis away from one of the Abs, and therefore underdevloping it.

Though I would wholeheartedly concur, you should potentially see a specialist as Swanso says.

No I don't think you need to do that. Unless for some reason you were having some difficulties, Walking, Bending over, you felt stiff, or had sharp pains for instance, then a Chrio probably would be a waste of money.

Are you serious? Is that possible?

Do you think we could see a preview?

Maybe you're working more on the 3 side than the 2 side as in when you do ab work outs, you don't do it straight? But that doesn't make sense.

i think i have the same thing. i am thin and have 3 on one side 2 on the other. the one missing is on the lower abs. i think i might have a small hernia. the muscle that is missing has fallin down where i cant see it. it hasnt bothered me except it doesnt look as good.

The answer to this problem is simple. No two parts of your body are 100% identical or symmetrical. When you are lifting dumbbells for example, even if the weights are the same in each hand, one side is stronger than the other. For me, its left side. Not only is left side slightly stronger, but it is also slightly bigger. The same holds true for abs. left side would show before right. only suggestion would be for you to focus a little more of your time on that side that is a little weaker. Not much more else to say. Like I said before, no two parts are exactly the same.

I completely agree with that. left trap is bigger than right and is noticeable if someone is told about it.

There could be a technique issue. If Abdominal technique was not correctly used, then it could have caused a potential imbalance, resulting in the person getting lopsided Abdominal devlopment.
