abs-how often to work them

how often should i work my abs? some say daily some say let them rest ..and should I work them on my cardio days or my wt training days...I do 3 days wt training 3 days cardio...thanks

I hear people say that you should train abs every day.
"It's a special muscle".
It's a muscle, it needs time to recover. I don't think training it every day would do more good then three times a week.

I like the way some people justify stuff with fancy quotes, like it's a special muscle. Good point you made there :).

Special muscles are ones with good condition, not weak ones, covered with vast wodges of Fat.

directly - 2/week maybe

indirectly - everytime you train (compound exercises)

You will work them indirectly when you perform heavy, compound lifts such as squats and deads.
