Abs not parallel?

Postby Manfi » Mon Jun 22, 2009 1:33 pm

My abs aren't that visible (probably due to body fat) but when I flex them it seems to me that they aren't parallel. The abs on my right side are about 0.5 centimetre higher, which is worrying me a bit.
I regularily do sit-ups and other exercises, so I'm wondering if this could be due to my not training correctly. What do you suggest?

That's pretty normal, so don't worry about it.

People do not have perfectly symmetrical bodies.

People tend to have assymetries like that. It's perfectly normal. Actually, you can't change that, no matter how you train.

Yep, unfortunately the symetry of your abs comes down to your genetics.
