I know most of you "lifters" hate push ups but they are by far the greatest upper body builder. I have been doing them 5 days a week for the past year and a half. At this moment i do 500 spread out throughout the day. 250 in the morn & 250 in the afternoon -and this during my 15 min break at work- I can do up to 70 without stopping when i first started i could barely go past 10.
I went from 110lbs(yes not a misprint) at 6'1'' to 162lbs in that period of time. The only supplement i was using are creatine & protein from walmart. They are not expensive but did work very nicely for me. Ran me about $14 or $18.
The funny part is i run into my former co-workers on the street they don't even recognize me . I have to reintroduce myself . Even my own brother swears i am on steroids since he never c me go to the gym & i manage to get muscular.
I have solid gains now but the only thing i need to work on are my forearms & legs -below the knees.
So i really dont buy into the plateau theory or those expensive supplements
