This might help. It's one I post on here now and then

Squats, 2 sets, 10 reps

Lunges, 2 sets, 10 reps

Deadlifts, 2 sets, 10 reps

Bent over Barbell Rows, 2 sets, 10 reps

Bench Press, 2 sets, 10 reps

Shrugs, 2 sets, 10 reps

Planks 30 seconds.

An instructor would be able to help you.

If you do Cardio, you could be looking at interval training for 30 minutes a time, or maybe something like Sprints or HIIT.

So your weights and cardio schedule could look something like this.

Day 1. Weights

Day 2. Cardio

Day 3. Weights

Day 4. Day off

Day 5. Cardio

Day 6. Weights

Day 7. Day off.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Boss Man is right, you have to do full body work (including resistance training) to get the best results. All the ab work in the world won't help if you don't lose the fat. I strongly recommend taking a look at your diet as well, 70% of weight loss is diet. Try keeping an honest food journal for a couple of weeks and use it re-evaluate your diet.

I'm guessing that when you first began to put on excess weight it was on your belly. If yes, then the belly area will be the last area where you'll see your weight loss. Just keep going on the path you're on.

I've been working out for 8 weeks. I've lost 12lbs and some inches too. I haven't measured the amount of inches but I see and feel a WHOLE LOTTA difference. I too seem to have that belly fat that is hard to work off. From what I have read here and other places, I think the plan is to keep working out and adjust your diet. I'm trying to mix up my workouts some to now include some weight lifting. Nothing major just would like to add a little muscle. I understand how you feel suzzy but keep at it and keep up the full body workout. :D

Muscle burns calories, so more muscle is good. Althogh eventually some people will negate this effect, if they are getting really big, as the amount of added calories burned with muscle growth and maintenance, versus the added calories needed to bulk, would put the body in a slight negative deficit fat wise.

For example, a man weighing 170lbs of muscle, could have low Fat, but a man weighing 200lbs of muscle, couldn't have the same fat level, without either prohormones or steroids.

The best way to lose fat around the belly button is doing weighted abs, doing cardio and the most important part is eating clean. Trust me the fat will go away. Here's a video with some of the workouts you can do

Can indoor running flatten those belly fats as well or is it more effective to do running outside during cardio days?

Indoor or outdoor running have similar effects, but it depends on many things like when you're outdoors it's the terrain, speed and duration.

In the gym it's the speed, duration and machine setting that defines what happens.

Therefore these variables will dictate how much or little benefit you can derive from running style Cardio.

Thanks for the inputs.

By the way, I thought 2 miles/day five days a week would be enough, but I was looking around on Amazon a few hours ago and I found this eBook on free promo! How To Lose Weight With Running: 11 Tips To Run For Weight Loss http://amzn.to/NKVJMT. Anyway, this book says in order to lose weight with running I need to run a total of four hours a week or twenty miles per week. This is basically 6 or 7 miles per hour for 30-40 minutes per day. The way it's explained sounds pretty scientific. What's worked for you? Have you guys seen this free eBook?
