Hey All, just a weight-loss related question:
Do you feel motivated to stick to your plan by looking at photos of yourself that you like, or that you don't like?
Some context: I have seen others using photos of themselves from the past that they like, in order to strengthen their resolve to "get back" to that state, I have also seen people with collages of some of the worst photos of themselves that they use to remind themselves of how they look and how dissatisfied they are with the current state of things. I don't really think that fixating too much on either is particularly healthy, but I definitely remember photos of myself that I like more than the ones that I don't. For example, my avatar makes me really happy because I almost don't believe it's me - it reminds me that my training is making me stronger and that the difference is visible. Photos of myself that I don't like, from family events and that kind of thing, remind me that I still have a long way to go and tend to make me feel worse, so I don't fixate on them as much.
