If you have Acne problems go on a medication called "Roaccutane." it's not any of that herbal crap, it's some serious stuff. Take it during the winter when you're not in the sun as often as it dries your skin up, and gets you dry eyes.

I'm almost finished my roaccutance prescriptions, and in 5 months my terrible acne and bacne (back acne) is gone. Atleast look into it. Although it might only be available in australia...

please please please dont be so quick to jump on the chemical drug bus.

the active ingre. in your solution is isotretinoin...which is a dirivative of Vit. A

Do you realize that this is not given to women if they want to have children!.........due to malformations of the fetus.....one taking this cannot even donate blood for this risk

not to mention the depression...suicidal thoughts and psychotic behavior.

why do you think people with decreased liver function shouldnt take this stuff...oh my...just be careful!

Pity you can't just do a patch up job. Sandpaper the blighters off, then put some teeny tiny plasters over the area for 24 hours, to stop the bleeding, and then hopefully look a bit better.

Though I don't reccomend that at all. Not from experience, just common sense.

I'd agree about the drug angle. There's got to be better ways than using pills, to correct a skin problem like that.

i think im taking the same thing as the other guy

its called acutain or soemthing

and like she said, the active ingrediant is itroentitrin or something..there two pages of side effects with the worst being getting a female pregnant or a female getting pregnant because it causes horrid babies.

You also cant break a bone, if it gets into the broken bone they have to amputate it.

but...acne clears up in 3 months and is gone for life, never comes back

I'm 35 and remember how debilitating acne was for me from the ages of 15-18. I used it as an excuse to withdraw from life. I lost a lot of time being a prisoner to my acne.

In college, I finally found a great doctor near my school who prescribed me Tetracycline and it did the trick. Totally cleared it up. I was amazed.
My poor mom paid a lot of money trying to help me with it. She never gave up on me.

Today I have great skin and minimal scarring. My skin looks great, even though I struggled with it.

I'm thankful i did not go on any of the controversial drugs like Accutane that have been linked to some pretty serious diseases.

Professional advice is always the best... But dermatologist always charge more and the prescribed medicine or treatment is always scary... I had been to a dermatologist recently as I have moles on my body, he suggested for mole removal surgery in which he will burn the moles or remove them and leave a stitch the skin...

I suggest rose water. Clean your face with rose water before go bed. (Drop onto cotton.) Point is hygen.

My dermatologist gave me some pills but I refuse to use them because of side effects. They takes out vitamine a and changes your body's hormonal balance. Don't use them unless you have serious problems.

Thanks for the suggestion... I will start using rose water from today...
I was searching for natural treatments on the internet and I found a Mole Remover which guarantees to remove moles in 3 days...
I am planing to opt this treatment...
What do you say???

I wouldn't use all of them at once. They could take away benefits from each other. First start using rose water. Just clear your face. Don't use it much. It doesn't mean that using something much helps you much. Don't make cotton as wet as like dunked into water. Divide your face as left and right side. Prepare two cotton. Clear one side with one cotton and clear other side with other cotton. Don't forget, everyday before go bed.

You will see dirt on the cotton. Hygiene is the focal point unless you don't have hormonal deficiency or something like that.

Michelle, I checked you out, and you have been asking this sort of stuff all over the net, and posting that link too.

Promoting mole removal products over the net is ILLEGAL.

I will of course give you a few days to respond to this. If you are genuine then fine, if you like to promote things and know it's illegal, I will assist Admin to ban you.

acne treatments

Postby fitgirltitone » Wed Mar 18, 2009 11:08 am

There is a new product on the market called Solodyn, its very expensive if you dont have insurance but I started taking it about 4 weeks ago, everyday and my face has cleared up tremendously. Let me explain my situation...I had cystic acne, never as a child or teenager, just all of a sudden. I tried clyndamicin, tetricyclin, baxtrin...none works....this is great. I am also using a topical called Aczone.
The solodyn is around 600 a month and the aczone is around 125.
